Review | Lush Eau Roma Water

I have been using the Eau Roma Water toner at least twice a day for the past 2 weeks-ish now so I thought I would do a review seen as I've had a "good go" with it.

I bought this toner because I am on a mission for perfect skin and I saw this on the Lush website where it said:
"This toner is sophisticatedly simple and is intended for skins that need a little extra love and care. Dry, sensitive or mature skins will find the rose water is calming and reduces redness, whilst lavender water will soften the skin and balance sebum production. A gentle tonic for everyday use that will help hydrate the skin without causing it to overreact."

The last sentence was literally music to my ears.

I bought the 100g version for £3.75 to be safe. I didn't want to buy the 250g bottle because it would have been a waste if my skin did react.

I really like the packaging. I have always liked the whole Lush design anyway, the black and white simplicity etc. The spray bottle is really useful though. It does say you are supposed to spray this onto cotton wool, however I spray this directly onto my face (I'll explain why in a minute). Overall the packaging is perfect and practical.

Now onto the product! I find it is really lovely on the skin, it removes the excess cleanser and makeup and it's also really refreshing on a tired morning. I usually use this after I cleanse. I spray it directly on to my face because it's quite cold so "wakes me up" and refreshes me. I then remove the excess with cotton wool and moisturise. The actual product is clear and has a water like consistency. The smell is also lovely. It's not too overpowering but it does have a soft lavender smell.

Overall I think this product is so lovely and really gentle, but affective on my skin. I will definitely be repurchasing, however I will just add that I still have loads left even though I've been using it daily!

  2. Sounds really nice, most of the toners I've tried are too alcoholic x

    1. Ah, this one doesn't have many at all! It tells you the ingredients on the website and there's only about 5 or 6 things!
