The Hull Vintage Fair February 2015

There is nothing I love more than spending a Saturday afternoon (or any afternoon for that matter) getting lost in a jungle of vintage treasures - seeing the gaudy, yet charming clash patterns, rummaging through rails on a mission to find a bargain and yes, I have even grown to love the smell of vintage! Lou Lou's Vintage Fair returned to Hull's City Hall last Saturday and of course I went along - but this time I thought I'd blog about it. Lou Lou's is probably the best vintage fair I've been to and on Saturday it seemed to have even more on offer than before! Along with rail upon rail of vintage clothes, a chance to get your hair and makeup done and tea and cake, they also provided entertainment in the form of the very talented Andrini Sisters. What excited me the most was the increased number of vintage home ware stalls, as since becoming a 'proper adult' I have acquired an obsession with the stuff. Most notable for me was the fair's popularity, don't get me wrong, every time I've gone it has been pretty busy, but this was by far the most busiest I've seen it. With the rise in popularity of vintage over the past few years this fair and possibly the vintage 'scene' in Hull will hopefully get bigger and better, which is a lovely thought because I love Hull as much as I do vintage!

If you want to know more about Lou Lou's Vintage Fair and if it is coming to a town near you then please have a look at their website (www.thevintagefair.com) - they also have a facebook page!
