Haul | Nottingham, H&M, Primark and MAC

Recently I went to Nottingham, shopping, for my friend Lizzy's 18th. I bought some really nice bits, so I thought I'd share.

Leopard Print Blouse - H&M - £15.99
Instantly fell in love with this, I really love sheer shirts and blouses at the moment and it's leopard print.

Outfits | Inspiration for Berlin

I go to Berlin for 3 nights from the 9th of April and I'm so excited! We are only allowed to take hand luggage so I am currently planning outfits to wear so I thought I'd use Polyvore for some inspiration - I also included one nail varnish from OPI's Germany Collection  in each of the outfits.

Haul | Online shopping will be the death of me

Today I got lost on Etsy and eBay and I found these two gems!

London Calling Denim Jacket - £5.00 + £5.00 p+p

I first bought this cute denim sleeveless jacket with the album cover for London Calling by The Clash. I really do love it and have been wanting to customise my own denim jacket for a while, but without the skills or the time I never have. I just hope it fits!

Metallica Shirt - £6.55 + £2.50 p+p

I then bidded on (and won) this Metallica shirt. I actually hope the weather stays chilly for a while so I get to wear this - I think it'll be cosy!

Recently I've felt I've lost a bit of personality in my wardrobe, so I hope these two additions will inject a bit more "me" into it - I've missed buying secondhand.

..and yes before you ask I do actually listen to the bands!

xx

Has anyone else diy-ed there own denim jacket? I'd still love to do it!

Tutorial | Florence and the Machine Inspired

I thought I'd do a tutorial on a look inspired by one of my favourite women/artist. I even tried to do my hair like hers and wore a snake skin dress to channel the "reptile" look she pulled off so well at the recent Grammys. Please watch, comment, like and subscribe for more (maybe improved) tutorials xx

March Resolutions + Morrissey

As February was semi-successful, I thought I would set my self 4 new goals for this month and to help me I'm going to use the power of The Smiths lyrics:

STOP PROCRASTINATING
"I Started Something I couldn't Finish" - The Smiths
STOP BEING SHY
"Shyness is nice and shyness can stop you from doing all the things in life you'd like to" - Ask - The Smiths
THINK BEFORE I SPEAK
"Big mouth la da da da da oh big mouth strikes again"

STOP BEING LATE
Couldn't think of a Smiths song that relates to lateness so have a nice picture of them and Morrissey is holding daffodils and it's St Davids Day this month and Mothers day and Easter.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wish me luck, and if you don't know who The Smiths are then ask your parents!

February Resolutions: The Results

So about a month ago I set my self a few goals to achieve in the month of February - click here to read the original post. I have been putting off doing this post because I think that I've failed miserably! However, maybe as I go through writing this post I may be a little less critical of myself.

My five goals were:
Be more punctual Be more confidentTake more care of my appearanceDo at least 2 hours independent study every night  Improve conversational skills

Yumi!

I was recently browsing through New Look, and to be honest I never look at the "Label Lounge" thing that they have because lets face it, they are pretty expensive and they only go up to a size 14. However, although Yumi is no exception to this, I just wanted to share with you some of my favorites as I think they are a brand that have patterns and prints right up my street.

Tutorial: Simple Every Day Look using Naked Basics

After nearly a years worth of umming and ahhing I decided to make another video. It's not a talky one - I just can't stand to here myself talk so I'm not ready for a talky video yet! So I thought I'd do a step-by-step eye makeup tutorial and let The Stranglers do the talking!

I'm not exactly great at make-up, neither am I adventourous any more! I stick to the same basics most days, but I thought I'd share with you a quick and easy semi-pinup inspired eye that I've been doing most days since I got the Naked Basics Palette. I enjoy wearing this look with a red lip and false eyelashes normally, however I filmed this before school and who can be doing with that shit at school!

I've also got a list of other items I recommend for this look.
I used the Naked Basics Palette but, if you didn't necessarily want a matt finish you could use:
either Naked Palette
The Next Cashmere Palette which I featured in my first ever post!
Or if you're set on a matt finish but still don't want to spend £20 - the Sleek Ultra Dark Matte is also a winner!
Hope you enjoy the tutorial, please leave feedback either on here or on youtube! If you'd like a tutorial on anything else or have any ideas for another video I could do then please ask!
