Review | Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Lover

I purchased the Illamasqua Powder Blusher in the shade Lover in the January Sale (click here for post) and I've probably worn in 90% of the days since.
Overall I'm absolutely in love with this product so read on to find out why!

Apologies for the powerdy-ness I did try and brush it down

PRICE: Not very student budget friendly at £18.00 however it was reduced to £7.50 (and I had some Christmas money left over). An additional note is that this product will last as it is highly pigmented and for £18.00/£7.50 you get 4.5g of product and as you can see from the photos even though I've used it a lot it looks virtually untouched.

COLOUR AND PIGMENT:  As described on the Illamasqua website it is a "soft apricot" so goes well with my orange hair. It has a matte finish so great for a simple, daytime look. As I mentioned above the pigment is crazy and you do not need a lot!

USAGE: It is really easy to blend (when you accidentally overload your cheeks), I normally use a clean brush (or one dipped in my normal face powder) to buff it in.

LASTING POWER: Pretty good, I find it lasts all day.

OTHER: I swear it smells of chocolate - does anyone know if it's suppose to or not?

In conclusion I think this product is great and I shall definitely be purchasing an Illamasqua blusher again (when they're in the sale)!

Do you own any Illamasqua Blushers and which would you recommend?

xx
